Whom Do I Trust?

The gruesome act of betrayal shattered the naive and unsuspecting heart. Once filled with love and loyalty, it now lay utterly destroyed from the brutality of a dear and beloved friend. One fatal blow devastating the innocent- treachery unabashed. As the damage was surveyed, "Who holds your heart?" was heard upon the wind. "Is it the lover of iniquity or the lover of your soul? The one who calls evil good and is satisfied with his handiwork will reap what he sows. You, however, have given your heart to one whom it doesn't belong. Give it back to me. Let me have the pieces and I will make it whole once more. If you put your trust in me, you shall never be crushed again, for I am El Roi, the one who sees you and knows you by name."
